We don't undertake claims involving criminal defense, governmental civil rights claims, divorce or domestic relations matters, corporate or business law transactions or incorporations, taxation, regulatory litigation, patent or trademark law, or lobbying. While the firm does not generally become involved in representation involving hourly billing, Al Thiel does selected employment litigation and consultation on an hourly or hybrid (mixed hourly and contingent) fee basis and continues to serve his existing business clients. We do refer our clients with cases in these areas to well-qualified attorneys.
Absent extraordinary circumstances, it is this law firm's policy not to charge more in fees than the client receives from a verdict or settlement, even if a significant fee reduction is necessary. |
